A 51-year old married father of two from France is suing drug company GlaxoSmithKline, saying that the drugs he took for Parkinson’s disease have turned him into a ‘compulsive gay sex and gambling addict.’

According to Fox News, Didier Jambart, of France, took Requip – a drug used to treat the motor side effects of Parkinson’s disease – from 2003 to 2005. Taco Bell’s Ground ‘Beef’ and the Woman Who’s Suing Over It

photo of taco bell taco pictures

Ground beef sort of weirds me out. For the obvious reasons, but also because you have no idea what’s in there. When you get a steak at a restaurant, you have a reasonable assurance that you are eating some chunk of a cow, because you can see it on your plate. But when it comes to ground beef – well there could be just about anything in there. Someone could have thrown anything in there, and depending on quantity and flavour, you’d have no idea. There could be cats, newspaper or shoes in your ground beef, and you probably wouldn’t know. Japanese Surname Law Faces Legal Challenge

Critics, however, say the time has come to modernise the law surrounding marital surnames in Japan – the only G8 nation with laws governing such matters.

The five challengers of the law argue that the law’s requirement that a single surname be chosen contradicts articles of Japan’s constitution guaranteeing individual liberty and equal rights to husband and wife. The five are also seeking 1m Japanese Yen each in compensation …

A Philadelphia doctor, Dr Kermit Gosnell, is facing eight murder charges for operating what one District Attorney has called a ‘filthy, foul-smelling house of horrors’ abortion clinic where two woman and several infants were killed. Though ‘house of horrors’ might sounds like a bit of an exaggeration, perhaps stated by someone very conservative and anti-abortion, sadly it transpires that it is not.

According to Yahoo News, some of the charges that will be brought against Gosnell include running a clinic with no medically-trained staff other than himself,  murdering at least one apparently healthy woman by administering  an overdose of Demerol, delivering babies live and then killing them with scissors – a procedure he referred to as ‘snipping’ – and allowing cats to roam freely throughout the clinic, urinating on already bloodstained …
