A 51-year old married father of two from France is suing drug company GlaxoSmithKline, saying that the drugs he took for Parkinson’s disease have turned him into a ‘compulsive gay sex and gambling addict.’

According to Fox News, Didier Jambart, of France, took Requip – a drug used to treat the motor side effects of Parkinson’s disease – from 2003 to 2005. Jambart says that, due to the side effects of Requip, he lost his family’s savings to internet gambling, stole money to feed his gambling habit and attempted suicide three times. Natalee Holloway’s mother, Beth Holloway Twitty, has been living a nightmare that few of us can even imagine for the past five years. Her vibrant daughter was suddenly gone, and she didn’t even have the closure of being able to bury Natalee—she technically doesn’t even know for sure that she’s dead, although that’s sadly a pretty clear conclusion.

Perhaps the worst thing for Twitty is that the authorities know who is responsible for Natalee’s disappearance (and assumed death) while on a vacation to Aruba.

Think about how horrible it must have been for Natalee Holloway’s family to see Joran van der Sloot all over the television screen (including a Lifetime original movie) for the past five years, usually in some state of alcohol-fueled and gambling-centered pursuit. It must have been like getting flipped a gigantic bird at every turn.

Like most sociopaths, though, van der Sloot finally pushed the envelope a little too far. He was essentially caught red-handed in the violent murder of Stephanie Flores and is currently in a Peruvian prison.

A Peruvian prison that Beth Holloway Twitty snuck into so she …

Sex Trade Allegations Indicate Joran van der Sloot Worse Than We Thought

He’s murdered one woman (Stephany Flores) and more than likely got away with the killing of another (Natalee Holloway). Now, Joran van der Sloot is back in the news … for alleged sexual trafficking of underage Thai girls. Oh, and two of them are missing.

From The Daily Beast:

As Joran van der Sloot waits in a Peruvian jail to be tried for the murder of Stephany Flores, it increasingly appears that a highly disturbed young man was allowed to rampage freely for years.
New revelations indicate that the list of missing women linked to the 22-year-old Dutchman may grow even longer, all because Aruban police failed to imprison him five years ago. Not long after Van der Sloot narrowly escaped prosecution for the disappearance of American teen Natalee Holloway in Aruba on May 30, 2005, he headed home to Holland to finish his studies. He had served three months in Aruban jail after Holloway disappeared, but was released that September due to lack of evidence. Back in Holland, he took a few classes, but spent most of his time gambling in the casinos and smoking pot in coffee bars.

You know, I understand the concept of “innocent until proven guilty” as well as anyone (and better than some). However, van der Sloot’s obvious sketchiness was evident from the moment he was detained in connection with Holloway’s disappearance. Someone should have kept a better eye on him.
