First, use a dark or neutral, matte, lip color (avoid bright or pastel colors). Start applying the color at the bottom of the lips, right where they touch, and then rub lips together to move the lipstick to the top. This will blend the color outwards, keeping it darker on the inside.
Steer clear of gloss and shine, and if you really want an effective (if a bit unhealthy) option, let your lips dry out. Healthy lips are full and plump, so perhaps if you cut down on balms it will thin them out.
As an extra touch, you can apply bright blush or go heavy on the eye makeup to detract from the lips.

Ya I’m pretty sure most girls spend their lives trying to making their lips bigger not smaller! That’s the whole point of lipgloss and lip stick. I don’t think this golden ratio thing is 100% right.
Um- not really “Me says”, just because you only know girls with small lips doesn’t mean there aren’t millions of girls out there with overly huge lips that are disproportionate and grossly over-sized…like mine!!! They are so huge they actually affect my speech! They don’t even have any definition, they’re so big!

I am a girl (who is white) who does want to reduce the size of her lips, seriously. It is an honest source of insecurity for me – I read somewhere once that when Angelina Jolie was younger she felt like her lips looked like Muppet Lips. That’s exactly how I feel, I feel like – particularly my bottom lip – is so big, it’s like distracting.

This is funny, i like that i have big lips but thery seem to dry out because im in canada and its cold and it just fucks them up. so i get that middle incresase of skin that juss had to get pulled off how do i make them stop cracking.
smaller lips are way more attractive. bigger lips are hotter but smaller lips are cuter and make you look more doll faced and beautiful. why would a girl choose to look hot over pretty?!
YES! I have big lips and I hate them! I don’t see what the BIG deal is! I think thin lips are way prettier than big lips.
