I usually prefer science fiction and fantasy shows, but there are a few dramas that I watch regularly (I have seen NCIS: LA, of course). For me, The Closer and The Good Wife have just been mind-blowing. The Good Wife is a political drama, though the day-to-day tends to be about court cases (criminal and civil). I'm going to just GUSH about The Good Wife when the new season starts up. I cannot stand reality shows. My boyfriend is raving about "The Newsroom", and I think it's wonderful to see how television can make people think about and discuss areas of relevance.
