Because telling someone — loudly — in public that they are a “ugly, fat whore” isn’t being a disruptive, verbally abusive douchebag.
What a moron.
Oh, and if this made you angry, don’t bother looking at the comments on the video’s YouTube page.

I feel bad for that police officer. He handled it very well.
I was actually waiting for the camera to swing around and suddenly focus on an angry fist flying towards the guy. No such luck.
I feel bad for most police officers. The have to put up with so much filth everyday I wonder how the don’t all go insane.
.
This video reminds me of the youtube video of women calling themselves feminist at the battered Mens’ forum and yelling out offensive crap.
.
People get hurt then they go out an take their pain out on others often in a verbal sometimes violent manner.
.
This guys mom probably spanked him one too many times… sigh now I’m doing it.
I couldn’t help myself, I read some of the comments on youtube. I lot of people seem really disgusted with the women in the video and claim that they are very quick to lie and make false accusations.
The thing is, the women aren’t saying “he made a threat”, they are saying “he is being threatening”. A person doesn’t have to make a threat to behave in a way that is threatening. His disruptive actions alone may have made those women feel threatened, and from that side of the camera we can’t see his body language, his facial expressions, or his gestures. He very well could have been quite threatening and intimidating.
Considering how idiotic the man’s taunts were, I think the women did a very good job handling it. I probably would have lost my cool and screamed at him.
How like a feminist to use their femininity, “His disruptive actions alone may have made those women feel threatened, and from that side of the camera we can’t see his body language, his facial expressions, or his gestures.”
.
Complete garbage! I love this guy. Somebody get me his number so I can go have a beer with him!
Awww. Even after the circumcision thing, I still didn’t think you were a troll. Sigh. Alas, my dreams for a constructive male commenter other than Joey have been, yet again, crushed.
Yeah me too.
Cripes. More Joey Boots. He’s the same asshole that started drama in Times Square when he was taping butt/crotch shots of a seventeen year old ballet dancer. He’s Stern show flunky, so you know he’s all about quality entertainment.
Actually, I think the women are seriously in the wrong here. Yes, the guy is a disruptive asshole. Or douchebag, if you prefer. But he has the legal right to be an asshole. the women have the legal right to whatever demonstration they were doing, and the guy has the right to say his peace.
He never made a threat. Sure, he was hassling, but there were clearly no threats. That was a lie. The guy was probably very careful to stay within the realm of insults, and avoid threats.
If a man’s very presence is going to start being defined as a threat, the legal system has a real issue. None of those women looked like they felt threatened in the least.
.
Even the police officer knew better than to try to charge him with a crime he hadn’t committed. He never claimed the man was doing something illegal – just that he shouldn’t talk to women like that.
Well no, he shouldn’t. But we have the right to act in many ways that we shouldn’t.
.
If it’s going to be applauded for strippers to protest churches, and for nerds to infiltrate religious protests, it’s unfair to say this isn’t permissible just because it’s an opposing viewpoint.
Unfortunately we could not see how the man was using his body to convey his message. If he was merely standing calmly in the crowd, then I could see calling him “threatening” quite a stretch. However, if he was nudging in to people, flailing his arms (or arm, as it may be), getting uncomfortably close to the women, etc. then I could see him being called “threatening” very appropriate. As it is, he was in control of what he chose to show on the tape. Who knows what happened right before the tape began. The response from the women in the crowd seems oddly fast to me.
It is unfair to automatically side with the women, but when all I know about this guy is that he is effectively a IRL troll, of course I will side with them. I actually loved how instead of shouting back, several calmly offered to talk to him. If he was truly protesting he might have thought of something more innovative to say than “make my bed”. It is possible that these are his exact views on the place of women, but his delivery doesn’t suggest it.
