Jason Alexander, probably best-known for his zany character George on Seinfeld, is now looking to Jenny Craig to lose some thirty-to-forty pounds of excess weight. Alexander will be the first person of male celebrity to undergo the Jenny Craig treatment and has recently signed as the diet plan’s latest spokesperson.
Alexander, (even though I still want to refer to him as ‘Costanza’) who was previously spokesperson for KFC has claimed that his growing waistline is becoming a problem for him. The weight-loss-wishing male states that all the while onSeinfeld, he watched his “hairline go away and his waistline increase.” Alexander primarily blames the large weight-gain on his wife, in that he gained a total of thirty pounds respectively between both of her pregnancies. In sympathy, of course.
Although it saddens me that “George” won’t be donning a bikini for our approval, it’s pretty awesome that he’s coming forward to join forces with a product and diet plan of such a female-oriented platform. I, myself, look forward to seeing the transformation that’s changed many others’ bodies and lives alike. It’s such an empowering step forward to commit yourself to something that will ultimately benefit you in the long run.
Once he loses the poundage, maybe then they’ll reconsider a real Seinfeld reunion! Lord knows I’d love it!
