UK couple Tommy Barnes and Lisa Brand are entrepreneurs in a line of business much explored. However, rather than making adult films for seedier reasons, they’re going it the “saintly” route and making the pornographic films (starring both bride- and groom-to-be) in order to fund their dream wedding and honeymoon.
How, ah… romantic.
According to an interview conducted by the Sun, the couple has so far made over $2,000 and still working toward their goal of paying for the idyllic wedding/honeymoon combo.
The couple currently has three films under their (proverbial) belt and anticipate the production of four more by June 2010.
I guess these two will either be way over-practiced for their first official night as Mr. and Mrs., but then again, maybe all of this practice will fuel a new sort of venture in paid home entertainment. Says the groom-to-be:
“It’s our five minutes of fame – something to look back on when we’re older. It has brought us closer together,” Mr. Barnes said.
Let’s just hope that the couple’s children (ahem, they have four of them) won’t be able or willing to look back on these things when they’re older, too.

Oh my goodness. There is no way on God’s green earth I’d even CONSIDER doing that to pay for my wedding. I’ll donate plasma, I’ll recycle cans and bottles, I’ll get another job, I’ll sell things on ebay, but I will NOT sacrifice my dignity like that.
