Even though Cyrus herself has been in the spotlight for many years of her young life, she speaks out against Madonna’s and Angelina Jolie’s parenting.
Miley states that it isn’t fair to the children to be subjected to such publicity; they’re far too young. She then compares the children to her situation — she states that she auditioned for Hannah Montana at age eleven and it was her choice.
Cyrus is a mere sixteen years old and she’s doling out parenting advice. Should we be afraid? Methinks yes. Billy Ray and wife didn’t exactly do a stellar job IMO of raising the age-defunct Miley and her footsteps-following sister, Noah. I think Cyrus should focus more on being a young girl and less on placing her “educated” guesses on hot topics around the globe whether it be parenting, the critique of older, much more seasoned musical artists or her thoughts on the War on Terror.
Finish high school, graduate college and gain some perspective on the world before you open your trap, Miley. I’m growing rather weary of your constant pseudo-intellect that you keep spouting to us commoners.

Agreed. Who is she to tell Angelina and Madonna that the way they parent is wrong? As if her parents did such a phenomenal job with her, letting a little 16 year old publicly display her idiocy and lack of modesty to thousands of people, and make money off it. How about we all have a big rousing chorus of, “You’re 16 years old, Little Miss Miley. Why don’t you let yourself age a bit before you go around telling women who’ve achieved something far greater than you can ever dream of that what they’re doing is wrong?”
I think she’s in a reasonable position to have an opinion on this. Her father could have easily shoved her in to the limelight when she was much younger but I didn’t even know he had a daughter until she started acting. Sure she’s a pretty messed up teen and her parents aren’t exactly doing a stellar job with her but I’m betting she’d be a lot more messed up she’d started as a toddler.
…….yeah….. they are right…. MILEY D0N’T HAVE THAT PERMIT T0 D0 THAT… she must just shut her m0uth up and c0nsentrate t0 her career and studies(( d0es she??))… well thats all….^_^
Umm……what?
I tried to figure that out before I had my coffee, and I gotta say the coffee didn’t help…
Coffee won’t help, you need crazy pills.
I don’t see more pictures of Angelina Jolie or Madonna’s kids than I do Jennifer Garner’s. If people follow you to the store and your kids’ school and take pictures, what are you supposed to do about that?
I think she should look to her own parents letting her little sister dress like a skank on the red carpet. Or maybe she should take a moment to analyze her own failings as a big sister.
Encouraging a 9 year old to dance suggestively and then posting the video online is probably much more damaging than the paparazzi snapping a picture of your kid eating cheetos.

Agreed!
PERFECT PICTURE SELECTION!!!
FoREALS, that is a really scary picture of a “girl”…
This is the girl that taught her 9 year old sister to “Smack that”. On Camera.
Pardon me while I fall to the floor in a fit of hysterical laughter.
I’m torn. I mean, if anyone knows the drawbacks of being a kid constantly publicized, she does. She may be sixteen, but from what I gather, she isn’t blind nor totally brain-dead. She’s allowed to have opinions.
Then again, everything out of this girl’s mouth is fail. Isn’t she the one encouraging her own little sister to act like she’s twice her age? Compared to Madonna and Angelina Jolie….well, HER parents aren’t doing a great job, are they?
Cut her some slack, people – she IS a kid.
Imagine if you were 16 and all of these people were constantly asking your opinion. I don’t know abo0ut the rest of you, but I was SO mature and sophisticated at 16 (in my own mind), I would have fell for it too.
Once again Blurry, I have to agree with you on this one as well.
All people of every age have opinions, and that’s what they are opinions. It doesn’t make them right or wrong, that is just what one person thinks about something.
If someone asks me about Miley, I can just give my opinion. Since I don’t know her personally and can view the publicity in any frame of mind that I want to, doesn’t make what I say right or wrong. It’s just what I think about her.
I never can quite understand why people think that if they spout something out of their mouths it must be regarded as law of the land.
Miley’s 17.
