We continue to grow our audience of intelligent, perceptive, involved readers, we just did a complete site redesign (you likey?) and, in order to provide you with more content, we’ve created a weekday editor position for our beloved Sarah Spangenberg, so there will be much more regular content on here than there’s been in the past. We will still be seeing stories from the uber-brainy Ashley Lindstrom, video vixen Molly McAleer and our latest and greatest intern, Kelsey Havens, a fellow Sun Devil.

No, I don’t likely the new site look…Actually it wouldn’t be so bad if the banner was the old banner and not semi-pixelated text. It’s really just the banner (or lack therof) that I dislike. And I liked the Zelda Lily emblem as the background, it didn’t just look like ‘Wordpress Blog Number 30395485673478′, it was THE Zelda Lily site.
I’m down for new looks, but I’m not convinced that this is the best that the site could have looked.
I agree, I thought the old site looked more professional. I don’t like the nesting on this new site either, I find it much harder to follow than the old style since the indenting is more subtle.
The nesting is a bug I’m working on. We will definitely get the comments section looking a little neater.
Regarding the ZL emblem in the background, we can bring that back easily enough, but it increases load time for some users. The monochromatic background loads faster for people with slow connections.
I find the new site to be unbelievably slow, actually. I never had a problem before, and everything else I visit has been fine, but suddenly this site takes nearly a full minute to load a page, or a comment window. Did you change anything else? It’s a real pain.

I figured everyone was having loading issues yesterday since there were basically no new comments all day. Glad that’s fixed!
I’ll pass. But only because I already have both of those products in my underwear drawer!
I hope somebody who has never tried them wins. It’s good stuff.
That’s why I entered. I’d love to try it! But it’s a little pricey, so I don’t think I’d buy it myself.
Ladies, I have to tell you I don’t like the new layout. The background, instead of a soothing purple, is now just too glaring white for me. But the content is still awesome. But my eyes hurt. Cheers!
