santa's-reindeer-all-womenAnd according to the old television movie of the same name, maybe a lesbianreindeer, too.  Wasn’t Rudolph trying to make close acquaintances with doe Clarice throughout the entire feature?

Fox News, just in time for the holidays, puts out an article on the fascinating subject of reindeer.  It’s all pretty interesting.  I never really had the need to educate myself a whole lot on caribou (that’s the other Sarah) but you can read Fox’s article in its entirety here.  I found the part that Rudolph was allegedly a female and that all of Santa’s reindeer were female to be kind of interesting.

According to the article, female reindeer retain their racks year-round while men shed theirs during the commencement of the winter months.   Therefore, if science is correct, all of Santa’s reindeer are female.  I’ve never seen an antler-less reindeer pulling the Santa sleigh, have you?

Happy Holidays.  I love this time of year.

Maybe they’re all hermaphrodites except not only in their reproductive organs. ;)
