Ashley Dupree Makes a Pretty Damned Valid Point: The Tiger Affair Vol. I

2009-05-03-ashleydupree_lAnd I assure you, with the coverage that the Tiger Woods Affair is getting, there will be no Volume II, at least from me.  I refuse to be the blogger who beats the dead horse… Oh… wait.

First, let me express my deepest condolences to Elin Nordegren.  My husband is a huge Tiger fan and we are both just disgusted with what was assumed to be his completely out-of-character behavior.  Are there other more important things going on in the world than Tiger’s affair?  Hells to the yes — but — is the Tiger affair at least a topic of conversation, something to talk about?

Hells to the yes.

Regardless, professional call-girl Ashley Dupree, most notorious for her affair with Eliot (ewEWew) Spitzer, had some pearls of wisdom to share with the New York Post this morning regarding her “insight” on the Woods affair:

“Here you have all these girls accepting gifts, money, trips from Tiger in exchange for sex — all the while knowing he is married… And now they all can’t wait to tell their stories in exchange for even more money from the tabloids? …And I was the hooker? At least I kept my mouth shut.”

Well, Ash, no, you didn’t and that was part of the problem, but you make a good point.

  1. Yeah but Ashley — you already contributed to the media blogging about Tiger by simply writing what you wrote. And frankly, I think that’s a good thing — a service to the women of America. After all, we live in a culture in which married men expect to be able to have affairs with no consequences. The least women can do is gossip about it to expose men to female scorn so the men come to understand it is not okay.
And yes, these women were ho’s, trading on another women’s money (half hers) to be wined, dined, and laid in sumptuous hotel rooms. Heck, Tiger probably also bought lavious little gifts, all no-no’s for a married man.

      Good point.

  2. LOL well, she’s got a good point, i agree… But, i think that sleeping with a married man is wrong, period. There’s no excuse for what he did to his wife, neither for the girls doing it knowing he is married..
Poor Elin, i don’t know how i would cope with something like this..

  3. As far as Tiger Woods and Elin are concerned I think everyone should mine their own business. We have no idea that ALL these women are telling the truth. I cannot tell you how sick I am of all the publicity especially with Nancy Grace. I am sure Tiger Woods is payinga huge price for what he has done and does not need anymore help from the media… At this point it is none of our business.
