News from the West Coast: A woman named Malena Brush is suing E! because she claims she was fooled by the network into “believing she was a contestant on a ‘Making the Band’-type series.” In fact, she was just a victim of Reality Hell — “a show that tricks people into believing they are participating in new reality shows.”
In a suit filed last week in Los Angeles, the woman claimed she underwent “mental and emotional anguish, fright, horror, nervousness, grief, anxiety, worry, shock, humiliation, shame, embarrassment and fear” upon discovering she had been deceived.
She wants financial compensation from E! and others, for “emotional distress, negligence and false imprisonment.”
You might be wondering exactly what Brush was made to do …
Her lawyer wrote in the suit that Brush was “instructed … to engage in humiliating activities” at her home during a filming session for what she was told was a “behind-the-scenes backstory.”
According to the suit, she later spent eight hours at a recording studio surrounded by people she was told were other members of the singing group and “recording studio personalities.” During this time, her attorney wrote, those employed by the show “proceeded to harass, embarrass, heckle, insult and offend” Brush.
“So many people are drawn to reality shows for their small taste of fame and ironically, this show gives it to those willing participants who are just very much excited to be part of the reality process. I can tell you the joy they get from when they find out they’re on ['Reality Hell'] has been very fun for us.”

I wondered if this would happen sooner or later with this show. I’m kinda glad someone’s taking E to task for it–they seem to go out of their way to really make their “subject’s” life a living hell.
What the hell was she made to do? This story is too confusing for me to even form an opinion.
I didn’t understand either.. lol.. But all i know is that i don’t understand why people want to be in reality shows, i honestly don’t get it.. I think all of them humiliate people to the extreme, but yet they’re really popular and people want to be in them.. It’s crazy!
I don’t get why people want to watch them, they’re boring as shit. When are actual tv shows coming back? If I see one more boring ass washed up celebrity peddling a reality show I may have to write some hate mail.

I watched this episode, and laughed my ass off. At first I thought it was fake, so I looked it up and found this. That bitch made a damn fool of herself. She was screaming in people’s faces, and couldn’t sing if her life depended on it. I suggest everyone watch this episode, and get some enjoyment out of it =]
Shes an idiot. She made a fool out of herself acting all ghetto and yelling at people. Maybe she’s just a bad person and is embarrased now that people actually know how she is.
So glad I googled this! I saw this episode the other day and I was cracking up! Malena clearly cannot sing & she is definitely a huge bitch! Looks like someone deserved to get punked! I hope this lawsuit is thrown out because I cannot wait to see more idiots get punked! hahahaha
