And I don’t want to hear any Amy Winehouse jokes, because I might just throw up in my mouth a bit.
According to a new study, it has been found that women who consume an average two glasses of wine a day are likelier than women who do not drink, or who drink less, to have more satisfying sexual lives. In Florence, Italy, approximately eight hundred women were surveyed for this study. On a scale from 1-36 (yes, 36 for a nice, even, completely sensical number), women who drank two or more glasses of wine a day were said to score an average of two to three points higher than women surveyed who drank less or not at all.
As we’re all well-aware, the consumption of wine has always been one of the top sex-desiring aphrodisiacs known to man. It’s practically hand-in-hand, galloping freely down a uterus-shaped lane, with chocolate. Aphrodite herself was probably a drunk. Johnny Depp is a self-confirmed wino and we all can just imagine that he’s a big, fat sex-beast in the sack.
Whether or not wine and it’s other stimulating counterparts truly induce the desire for sex, will remain to be known. However, I’m going to go out on a limb here and say that yes, women and men who consume any or more alcohol than non-drinkers will more than likely have more sex. It’s simple math. It’s only natural that your inhibitions go a little lower while drinking; we’ve all had, or heard of, these experiences. You drink too much: you take your clothes off a little quicker. It’s okay. It’s human-fricking-nature.
Regardless, I enjoy wine and this is good news for me, even if it is nothing more than a placebo mind-fuck. Wine-drinkers of the world? All I say is ‘cheers’!

Sarah darling, yet again you posted something I totally agree with. Wine is life.
Wine is life, indeed!
Well I never drink and I’m perfectly happy with my sex life. I can see how getting drunk would help in a new relationship or one night stand where you might need to relax but in a long term relationship you don’t need to relax like that.
Same here. I don’t drink–ever–because I think alcohol is disgusting. My sex life is fantastic…AND I can remember all of it!
I have never blacked out from drinking. Two glasses of wine will not make you forget fabulous sex.
jaja
