Personally, I’d hate the weather in Chicago, the smog/heat in LA and the weather in Seattle as well. My point? All major cities have downfalls, but I love NY for it’s culture, restaurants, history, shopping, people..everything. We all have different preferences, but at least I know there’s about 8 million people who agree with me.

I’m not a NYC fan either. So many rude people and so grimy plus the tap water is revolting. I’m sure there are plenty of people who are willing to put up with that stuff for the clubs and stuff but I haven’t found anything about NYC that appeals to me. There are a couple of restaurants I’d like to visit some day but that’s it.

New York is too damn full of itself. I’ve been there. Not impressed. Could I make it? Probably not because I don’t starve myself so even my incredibly small frame would seem like an obese tourists to you people. There is nothing in New York other large cities don’t offer. Except disgusting mounds of garbage and self-importance. I’m from Chicago: I can get the self-importance without the filth, thanks.

that “lounge” looks kind of like a rec room in someone’s basement, LOL. i love the model that said she spends lots of time in the bathroom changing … i think we all know that “changing” really means puking up the reuben you just pretended to eat.

It’s New York. Its the cool thing there to have a sunken in chest and knobby knees. No, I’m not joking. Grown women, too, not just high school girls.

One more reason why New York should stop pretending they are the center of the universe and acknowledge that they suck.

These models seem to think that they would get hit on left and right out in public. How realistic is that, honestly? I have never heard a single man say that anorexia is attractive.

i agree with rhonda and i am sure most people would too, models now are wayyy to scrawny but in fashion you must re adjust you levels of what is accepted thinness. I am uk 8 [usa size 2-4] and the agents were fine with me at first and then it was “why not tone up and be more healthy?” the translation seemed to be why not drop some more weight? so yeah, bones are big. Sometimes you’re allowed [fake] boobies too.
