Same-Sex Marriage Bill PASSES in New Hampshire!!!

It passed!!!

Things were looking grim in the days leading up to the New Hampshire gay marriage vote, but it passed in the State Senate today with a vote of 13-11.

The bill still has to contend with the state’s governor, John Lynch, a Democrat who’s said publicly that he opposes gay marriage. However, he had no comment on whether or not he’d veto this bill — he’d better not! It clearly has the support of the state behind it! (The bill sailed through the House.)

If Governor Lynch declines to take any action to block the legislation, the bill will automatically pass into law.

I do too! This makes me so proud. I would have been so upset if it didn’t pass especially after people made such a big deal about changing the seat belt law. If we really embrace our motto Gov Lynch will approve this and make a statement that NH is about Live Free or Die for ALL.
